FX's Alien: Earth on Hulu at W San Francisco | Event Photography

Nico Hend Photography photographed the San Francisco stop of The Hunt, the global fan activation for FX's Alien: Earth on Hulu, at W San Francisco on August 9, 2025.
Staged as wreckage from the USCSS Maginot, the installation brought the series' world into the hotel: Prodigy Corp containment tape, crash debris and in-world props, with costumed performers guiding fans through the experience. Guests scanned recovered debris, met the performers and picked up exclusive merchandise.
The activation ran the same day in seven U.S. cities and international locations, including San Francisco. Here, it drew devoted fans of the franchise, many arriving in Alien merchandise. As a longtime fan of the original Alien film, this was an especially fun event for me to photograph.
