Hi, I'm Nico.
Nicole (Nico) Henderson is a San Francisco corporate event photographer based in the Mission District and the owner of Nico Hend Photography.
Before launching Nico Hend Photography in 2017, I worked with corporate event agencies, where I learned the pace, logistics, and expectations that come with large-scale programs and Fortune 500 clients. That foundation continues to shape how I approach events today.
I photograph conferences, executive offsites, nonprofit galas, leadership programs, private dinners, cocktail hours networking reception and company meetings throughout the Bay Area, working directly with organizations and the teams who produce them.
Corporate events move quickly. Moments can't be repeated. Years of experience taught me to identify the event flow, key people, and priorities early, then disappear into the event, building complete coverage without adding friction for organizers, communications teams, or attendees.
My goal isn't simply to document what happened. It's to create photographs that capture the energy, relationships, and defining moments of the day, giving clients organized galleries they'll be excited to use across communications, PR, sponsor recaps, and future event promotion.
Outside of client work, I'm usually out with a camera anyway. The business mostly exists to keep the cameras fed and the photographer out in the world.
I take the work seriously. Not myself.
Most of the time, I'm simply paying attention. The photographs come from that. The camera reminds me to look a little longer.
A Way of Seeing
Whether I'm photographing an executive meeting, a conference, a cultural event, or a quiet street corner in San Francisco, I'm interested in the moments that emerge naturally when people gather, connect, and move through the world. My personal work and event work come from the same place: observation, curiosity, and a photojournalistic approach focused on genuine interactions, reactions, and connections.
Alongside the key photographs every event requires, I look for the unscripted moments that help tell the story of what the event actually felt like.
While most of my work focuses on corporate events, I've also photographed cultural organizations, performing arts groups, educational institutions, and community programs across the Bay Area. Those experiences continue to influence the way I see people, spaces, and the story each event has to tell. The camera gives me a reason to be in the room.
